Smiles at the Station

The subway can either be an exciting place of activity and creativity, or a scary place with rats.

However I am always happy when using the services at 14th Street, 8 Avenue station due to their superb, silly, small statues.

There are over a hundred of these bronze casted sculptures here  by Tom Otterness, depicting life in New York City.
It is honestly like playing a game of Where's Wally walking through!

I would personally recommend a trip to somewhere near this station just to see this Life Underground installation (2002).
