Our purpose: to say goodbye to a friend
Our destination: Cafe Lalo, 83rd st. New York
Nobody had heard of this place, but it was the top result of a google search because of it's presence in the film You've Got Mail.
Once we had seen the menu we couldn't not go! 
An array of cheesecake, pie, tarts and more were listed in every yummy flavour imaginable, and when we arrived at the cute cafe the shelves of these treats did not disappoint. The only issue was deciding!
The interior, music and atmosphere added to the experience.
If you need cake and a smile this is the place to go!
Now I just need to watch the film!
